Purpose of the Role

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will work alongside the wider engineering team on a variety of HVAC projects and contracts, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our customers’ equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Always show an excellent attitude and application
Hold a full, clean driving licence
Hold an F-Gas qualification and/or Diploma
Work independently on split and multi-split systems
Work independently on DX and chilled water fan coil units (FCUs)
Work independently on VRV/VRF condensers
Work on CRAC units (desirable)
Use manufacturers’ service software with a sound understanding of the data (desirable)
Work on other types of HVAC equipment (desirable)
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits
Carry out repairs across all the above equipment types
Compile dilapidation reports
Carry out advanced fault finding
Demonstrate a sound understanding of the refrigeration cycle to pinpoint issues quickly
Complete accurate reports of work, on time and to a high standard

Desired Skillset and Characteristics

Experience in a similar role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attitude and application
NVQ level 2-3 Air conditioning and refrigeration
F-Gas qualification and/or Diploma
A strong team player
